Eco-conference in Hastings: Thoughtful connections, hope for the future

According to Petchary, At the Second Annual Hastings Eco-conference, which I attended last weekend, attendees outdid themselves. Enthusiasm abounded; conversations were intense; and as organiser and host Barney Green observed, coffee was consumed in large quantities. First and foremost, many thanks to the dedicated and enthusiastic Barney for organising it; it was surely a great deal of work, and Barney was basically a “one-man band.” Next year, however, I think there will be a larger team and a larger meeting (although frankly I thought this was just the right size for many meaningful conversations, despite some absences).
